I’m drawn to people, especially where strength and vulnerability meet.

I was born in Ibi, a small town in Alicante known for its toy industry, and raised in Almería, in Southern Spain, the landscape of classic Spaghetti Westerns. I began studying Law at the University of Granada, but somewhere between lectures, art history classrooms, flamenco and belly dance rehearsals, and hosting a classical cinema radio program El Búho, I realized my life was moving in another direction.

I followed that instinct.

That led me to New Mexico’s independent film community, where I wrote and starred in my award-winning short film Dance of the Books, and gained on-set experience on productions including Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Today, I am based in Los Angeles, continuing a path shaped by persistence, curiosity, and a deep commitment to the craft.

Lorena's presence on set was nothing short of captivating. Her large, exotic eyes and extraordinary ability to convey complex emotions and thoughts with subtlety and depth truly set her apart. This unique expressiveness not only enhanced her performance but also added a rich layer of authenticity and connection with the audience, crucial for the success of a campaign with such wide and diverse reach.

With her impressive range and ability to effortlessly embody complex characters, she creates a natural and captivating atmosphere for her fellow actors to work off of, as well as for her audience to behold. ¨Lorena Fernandez has a remarkable ability to connect her privacy to her imaginative choices in her acting and I know very few actors who can actually do that.¨

-Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Greg Studios, L.A.

I’m thrilled to recommend Lorena Fernandez. I have had the pleasure of teaching her for the past two years, and her talent, professionalism, and willingness to bring her authentic self to the character stood out from day one. She does not simply perform, she transforms.
